![]() The social workers at Nephrology, Inc. provide education and support for you and your family both before and after you start dialysis. Social workers work closely with the other members of your health care team which includes your doctor, nurses, caregivers and dietitian. There are currently six social workers at Nephrology, Inc. They are all licensed and most have a Master's degree. What Do Social Workers Do?
A Social Worker will meet with you during your first few dialysis treatments to talk with you and your family about any concerns or issues you may have regarding dialysis or other areas of your life.
